TENAGA Nasional Bhd (TNB) will implement a 14.2% increase in the base electricity tariff for Peninsular Malaysia, effective July 1, 2025.

The new tariff will be set at 45.62 sen per kilowatt-hour (kWh), compared to the current 39.95 sen/kWh under the ongoing Regulatory Period 3 (RP3).

This adjustment is part of the upcoming Regulatory Period 4 (RP4), which will take effect from January 2025 to December 2027.
